This conference gathers experts from around the world to discuss advancements in intelligent transport systems (ITS). We moderated and presented the session “SIS 38: Rationale and Validation of Cooperative Perception Services for Connected & Automated Vehicles.” The session focused on the limitations of Level 3 and Level 4 automated vehicles, which rely on onboard sensors to detect surroundings. This year’s exhibition will feature advanced augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, specifically showcasing vision AI co-processing with the Magic Leap 2 headset. The “NTU-UTokyo Joint Conference 2023” was held on December 7th and 8th, 2023, at the National Taiwan University (NTU) campus in Taipei. This year’s conference theme was “Towards a Sustainable Future: Challenges and Resilience,” and it brought together a total of 300 professors from both the University of Tokyo and NTU. On December 5, 2023, the first Internet of Realities Symposium was held at Takeda Hall, University of Tokyo.
