Associate Professor Manabu Tsukada, Assistant Professor Ehsan Javanmardi, and Ph.D. candidate (D3) Huan Meng participated in the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC 2025), held in Gold Coast, Australia, in November 2025. ITSC is one of the leading international conferences in the intelligent transportation systems field, bringing together researchers from around the world for discussions on the latest research and technological advances.
During the conference, Associate Professor Tsukada delivered a keynote talk titled “Adaptive V2X Collaboration for End-to-End Autonomous Driving” at the DriveX Workshop, presenting recent progress in cooperative autonomous driving technologies. Ph.D. candidate Huan Meng also presented his research, “Patch Exploration-Based Route Planning for Autonomous Vehicles,” which proposes a novel route planning method and demonstrates its benefits across multiple scenarios. Details of the talk and paper are provided as supplementary information at the end of this article.
Assistant Professor Ehsan Javanmardi served as the session chair for four sessions related to Connected Vehicle Technologies and Cooperative Autonomous Systems (S03b, S10c, S25b, S25c). Through the presentations and session leadership, the team engaged in active discussions with international researchers, gaining valuable insights and fostering future collaboration opportunities.
