The 6th Summer School on Cooperative Interacting Vehicles (CIV 2026) will take place from August 31 to September 4, 2026, at the Phoenix Seagaia Resort in Miyazaki, Japan — the first time in Asia. CIV is an intensive five-day program for PhD students, early-career researchers, and young industry professionals. We are pleased to announce that our Master’s student (M2), Tokio TAKADA (髙田 季生), recently exhibited his research at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in collaboration with Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT). Takada-san presented a Digital Twin system developed using Unity Engine, demonstrating how digital twins can function as orchestrators for high-bandwidth wireless communications in urban environments. His demonstration visualized ultra-fast data transmission scenarios leveraging the IEEE802.15.3e communication standard in the 60 GHz frequency range.
