We demonstrated our works about Software Defined Media in Interop 2019@Makuhari Messe.
The Tsukada Laboratory will exhibit the latest research outcomes from the “Internet of Realities” project at Interop Tokyo 2024, held from June 12 to 14. This year’s exhibition will feature advanced augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, specifically showcasing vision AI co-processing with the Magic Leap 2 headset. This system streams camera data to an edge co-processor for AI model execution, such as object detection and pose estimation, and reprojects the results into the user’s 3D environment. Leveraging advancements in lightweight, untethered spatial computing hardware, this approach aims to enhance real-time computer vision capabilities in mixed-reality environments. Our booth is located at stand number 4B25. There is oneRead more
On December 5, 2023, the first Internet of Realities Symposium was held at Takeda Hall, University of Tokyo. This event adopted a hybrid format with about 100 attendees on-site and roughly 200 participants online. Associate Professor Manabu Tsukada from the University of Tokyo presented on the Internet of Realities project. Additionally, there were eight poster presentations by lab members involved in the project. The posters included diverse topics such as: “Visualization Techniques Using AR Devices in Cooperative Autonomous Driving” by Hitoshi Nakazato. “Web Digital Twin for BIM Using IFC Model Server” by Satoru Furuta. “Adaptive Algorithm for High-Speed Beam Tracking for Cooperative Autonomous Driving” by Ryo Iwaki. “Toward City-Native MixedRead more
