Abstract:
Autonomous automatic driving is essentially a replacement for humans. It has the same limitations as human drivers because it uses onboard sensors and computers to drive based on localized information. Cooperative automatic driving is expected to achieve a level of safety and efficiency that has not been possible with human driving imitation by accurately perceiving a wide range of physical space through V2X communication. This talk will introduce the prospects of cooperative automated driving and the attempts of cooperative perception and cooperative planning implemented using Autoware, an automated driving software.
